ALKAZAR is a broad-spectrum post emergence herbicide recommended for use along with surfactant for control of broad leaf and grassy weeds in corn / maize. The best time to apply ALKAZAR is when the weeds are in the early stages of growth, typically 2-4 leaf stage. ALKAZAR controls most of the post emergent weeds whereas Atrazine (RUSZINE) acts as pre-emergent herbicide and controls the emerging weeds thus ensuring almost complete control of the weeds for longer period.
