GALILEO SENSA is an advanced systemic fungicide developed by Corteva Agriscience, featuring a powerful combination of two active ingredients. It is specifically designed for the effective control of major diseases in key crops.
It provides robust protection against leaf and neck blast in paddy (rice), as well as anthracnose, wet rot, and powdery mildew in Chilli (pepper).Its formulation ensures both preventive and curative action, making it highly effective against established and emerging infections.
Mode of Action: A combination of two distinct modes of action:
Picoxystrobin (Strobilurin): Inhibits mitochondrial respiration, blocking electron transfer and halting ATP production in the fungus.
Tricyclazole (Melanin Biosynthesis Inhibitor): Prevents the formation of melanin, which is crucial for the fungus to generate the turgor pressure needed to penetrate the host plant's cuticle. It also inhibits spore formation and release.
Systemic Action: Rapidly absorbed and translocated throughout the plant for thorough protection.
