Legacee is a post-emergent selective herbicide to control a wide range of grasses in rice.

Mode of Action

Legacee has systemic activity. It is taken up by leaves & stems of target weeds and translocated to the Site of action i.e. plant tissues responsible for growth. This results in inhibition of fatty acid synthesis and chlorosis occurring in weed plants leading to their death in 7-15 days.

Method of application

Apply when weeds are of 2 to 5 leaf stage. Use flat-fan or flood jet nozzle for uniform spray. Maintain 2 to 3 inches of water for 5 to 7 days for better efficacy.
