One of Yara's "foliar phosphate" product lines is YaraVita Seniphos. These diluted liquid preparations are intended to assist plants withstand unfavorable weather circumstances, increase harvests during times of rapid development, or give a quick-acting fuel for plant energy. Since YaraVita Seniphos also includes calcium, it is typically applied to fruit crops.

YaraVita Seniphos works far better than treatments based on potassium or ammonium, which can harm fruit or produce calcium-related problems (fruit softening, bitter pit, etc.). YaraVita Seniphos has been repeatedly demonstrated in trials to be safe and efficient in increasing fruit phosphorus levels, improving quality (firmness, storability, etc.), and providing producers with higher profits.

Apples: 5.0 ml/liter water at fruit set stage, 40–50 days before harvest, and 20 days before harvest; water rate 2000–2500 liter/hectare

 grapes (table): 2.5 liter/hectare (to give a maximum of 10 l/ha) at varaison stage and repeat at 20 days after varaison stage: 500 liter/ha

potatoes: 2.5 liter/hectare (to give a maximum of 10 liter per hectare) at tuber setting stage and repeat at tuber development stage.
